Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Re: How do you store your shows?

I keep track (NOT!)...i have 4 large CD books, with shows everywhere. Noticed i need to use the books that are completly open at the top so the plastic edge don't rub the top inner edge of the CD. I try to keep my CD's from dust or touch, much like i handled vinyl records back in the day. Only touching the edges. I wonder if dust particles burn into the CD when it's played...
I found that those microfiber dust cloths do not scratch CD's. I HATE to loan out CD's unless they know how to handle them properly. No fingerprints, smudges -etc!!
Yesterday I found 3 shows I'd DL'd twice (!)
Forgetting I had them already-so i take good care of my CD's but still....a ball of confusion! lol
